| Thank you to the many wonderful people who support the fundraising event in Long Island New York on 23rd June. | Benefit Lenten Dinner and Concert- 5th April 2003 | ||||||

The Cathedral of St. John the Theologian, St Philothea Philoptochos, Kali Parea and PTO/ Mother's Club joined together to present Benefit Lenten Dinner and Concert to help offset the medical expenses of Effie and Stanley. First of all I would like to apologise to our friends in New Jersey for not putting up some photos on Stanley's web site earlier. The benefit was held on 5th April and at that point in time Stanley was in critical care and Effie and I could not attend. The family was represented by my mother Nina and daughter Nina. This fantastic function had over 100 attendees. We would like to sincerely thank Cathedral Dean Fr John Alexandrou, President of the Community Mr Andrea Zigouras President Cathedral of St John Parish Council and especially Mrs Maria Makrinos President St Philothea Philoptochos for organising the function. We thank the many members of the community who attended Stanley's Memorial Service some two weeks later. We thank the following families and companies for supporting our family.
